Three highly experienced travel journalists joined forces to publish an online magazine for active, adventurous and curious travellers: Expedition Anywhere. We believe that you can turn any destination into an adventure, as long as you have the right mindset & the added benefit of inside information from travellers who’ve been where you want to go. That’s why we write all of our travel blogs based on own experiences.
We encourage our readers to hike that mountain, cross borders, meet new people, stay curious and keep exploring. Through journalistic travel stories, detailed itineraries or by sharing our most practical hacks for travelling. So far we’ve covered more than 40 different countries in depth, with new articles being published weekly.
Whether you stay close to home or would like to travel to the most complex countries our earth has to offer – your next expedition is calling!
Travelling, writing and photography are among my biggest passions. As a travel journalist I create travel reports centred around experiences. I’ve left footprints in almost seventy countries and have created numerous memories there. In the past I’ve created over a hundred travel reports. In 2020 I received the Zapper Media Award for best travel blog for my article ‘Adventures on the road during Yukon in winter’.
As a kid I packed a bag and told my parents ‘I was going on a trip’. At the time I didn’t get further than the end of the street, but I’ve kept on travelling and telling stories ever since. The travel industry is a familiar destination for me. For over 10 years I worked as a marketer, tour guide and travel organiser. I believe the right amount of preparation will help make the most of any trip. And that you can make an adventure out of every destination!
My love for travelling started at a young age, when I became intrigued by the beautiful isle of Ireland. A country so close on the map, but with such a different culture…. I found it fascinating! My interest in travelling has brought me many places since then and I love to share my passion for adventure and being on the road. I feel especially attracted to what I call complex countries, those places which may be just a little bit more challenging to find your way – but oh so much fun!

Since our launch in 2022 we’ve been growing rapidly. Not much of a surprise when realizing that our team members have been writing about travel for many years now, and have built a strong and vast network as a result. We all have collaborated with a variety of organizations around the globe. With Expedition Anywhere, we now have a platform and the social media channels to provide a great opportunity for destinations, tour operators and accommodations to show what they have to offer.
